Enter the liminal world, a place between your body and your unconscious. This word is from the Latin, limen, meaning threshold. It is found between dawn and dusk, in the place between sleep and waking. These are liminal places where the unconscious can come to consciousness, a place where the veils between world thin.

one hour video captures Kate Amatruda's keynote speech on the sandplay therapy
treatment of an a child and and adult with the same type of cancer called
non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma.
You
will learn when sandplay therapy is contraindicated, how the psychobiological
fields of both client and therapist are touched, and hear how leading sandplay
and sandtray theorists look at the mind/body connection.
Learn
how to effectively use brief sandplay therapy in a hospital setting, as the
needs for mastery and control by severely ill children are addressed.
The
symbolism of Jumping Mouse, horses, butterflies, bridges, Quan Yin, cranes,
storks and fire are discussed as well as other symbols and facets of sandplay
therapy.
