The Journal of Sandplay Therapy
|
Each course is approved for 3 hours of continuing education
The Journal of Sandplay Therapy The Journal of Sandplay Therapy is a scholarly, peer-reviewed journal for clinicians interested in the use of sandplay therapy with children and adults. Sandplay is a nonverbal play therapy enabling patients to express conscious and unconscious material in visual form by means of figures placed in a sandtray. The Journal of Sandplay Therapy is of interest to both beginning and experienced sandplay therapists and play therapists, and features clinically focused articles accompanied by photographs of patients’ sandplay scenes. In addition, the Journal presents theoretical articles, research articles, and book reviews. Sandplay therapy was founded by Dora Kalff and is grounded in Jungian theory. The Journal also includes analytic, psychoanalytic, and other perspectives in the fields of clinical psychology and play therapy.
